Brand design and development is one of the most critical marketing activities in any company. However, it is also applied to individuals. Brand design and development encompass creating the name, colours, logo, stationeries, and the other elements related to the brand. The aim of these practices is to create a distinctive identity to differentiate from the other brands in the market.

  1. Design brief
    This phase is about signing the contract, confirming the design requirements by the client, and knowing their business. To help clients to better explain their needs, they will be provided with a questionnaire.
  2. Research
    After knowing about the client’s wants regarding the brand design project, the second phase will focus on gathering information about the market, competition and anything that may help in the brand, corporate identity, and marketing collaterals design.
  3. Idea generation
    At this phase the brand design concepts (including colours, logo, taglines, slogans, etc., according to the design brief) are created around the design requirements and research outcome.
  4. Design refinement
    Design ideas will be reviewed until a shortlist of concepts (usually 3 concepts) have been selected.
  5. Presentation
    The shortlisted design concepts are presented to the client to get feedback and select the final design for finalizing and completion.
    The client may want some modifications.
  6. Delivery and further support
    Delivery of the final artwork and identity guidelines, and support for building their brand.

The brand design process is never linear. Every stage overlaps the next stage and often it goes back & forth, and a number of iterations may be vital and inevitable.

Next, you will receive a quote and/or agreement form, and the design process will actually start after the contract gets signed.

Yes. If you already have trusted print vendors, we provide you with the print-ready files and you order the printing yourself. Otherwise, when needed, only for New Zealand-based clients, we can manage the entire printing process, recommending vendors, obtaining quotes, and seeing the design/print project through to the finish. In this case, we’ll add a small print management fee to the project. 

The client will pay the design and print bills separately for the first time. Then, they will establish a relationship with the printer and can easily order reprints directly afterward.

Depending on the number of design items requested, it usually takes anywhere from 3 weeks for a logo project to 3 months for a standard brand design package. For designing additional collateral pieces, more time will be required.

Absolutely. Using digital communication tools such as Email, Skype, Whats App, etc. we can start talking and working together.

You simply need a technician/drawer to draw your idea using a computer software. We provide strategic and creative brand design thinking services. This is more than you’re looking for, so, we are not the best fit for you.

It depends on the project, but to give you an idea, our prices start at as little as 250 NZD (or equivalent) for a logo design.
